Job Opportunity Lawrence Livermore
National Labs is looking for someone who is interested in ultrafast systems work and would like to
help push the state of the art in continuous real time ultrafast signal
recording. The position involves the research and development of a THz
bandwidth real time oscilloscope. The background and current status of
a related project is given at http://www.llnl.gov/str/June07/Bennett.html.
Experience with ultrafast lasers, modelocking, ultrafast
measurement technologies, understanding of dispersion and nonlinear
pulse propagation are pretty important.
