I really enjoyed the visit and meeting the students. It is clear that the OSA Chapter at Irvine has many great activities, the students are inquisitive an eager to learn. Our discussions about future careers was very rewarding. From the projects I saw, there is considerable innovation and a high level opticsin the Chemistry Department.
